Arts Advocacy Day 2017 A Success

March 15, 2017

by Susan McKinney

Tennesseans for the Arts would like to thank all advocates from across the state who attended Arts Advocacy Day 2017. Because of you, this year’s event was one of the most successful advocacy days in the history of TFTA! With nearly 300 advocates in attendance, the green TN4ARTS lanyards and tote bags that were visible across the War Memorial Building and the Legislative Plaza on March 1 made a strong visual representation of the unified voice that protects the arts in Tennessee.

Arts Advocacy Day is YOUR day — to reconnect with familiar friends and colleagues across the state, to make new friends and meet other advocates, and to be heard by your legislators. We hope that you found the day’s events to be informative and enjoyable. If you registered and attended this year’s event, please check your email for a link to a survey regarding your experience at Arts Advocacy Day. We appreciate your feedback so that we can continue to provide quality programming for our advocates.
