Active in your Advocacy

Tn4Arts purpose is to motivate and educate our members and supporters on effective advocacy practices and the importance of the Specialty License Plate Program. We do this through our Advocacy Tools and resources provided to our members offering a clear path to become an arts advocate.

Arts Advocacy Day Benefits

Access to our biggest event of the year held in March. Network with your fellow TN Arts Advocates and show our Legislators just how vital the Specialty License Plate Program, which funds over 80% of arts grants given out by the Tennessee Arts Commission, is to our Arts organizations across the state of Tennessee. The past two years Arts Advocacy Day, our “Day on the Hill”, has been held virtually giving us our largest attendance yet!

Stay Informed

Gain greater industry insight with access to our Members only Newsletter. The Tn4Arts Newsletter highlights movement success, impact stories, upcoming events and so much more.

Stay Connected

We want to build a better TN Arts Community. So we started with Tennessee’s first statewide Arts Calendar giving everyone access to information about FREE art related events happening locally. We understand at Tn4Arts that it takes a village, and that is why we aim to give the opportunity for our arts groups and organization members to share their free art related events on our calendar and to all of our members, read our guidelines at the bottom of our calendar page. This invaluable marketing resource hopes to boost community involvement and visibility. And as an Art Advocate… don’t forget to invite your legislators!

100% Tennessee Arts Advocacy Emblem & Certificate

We offer the opportunity for arts groups and organizations to earn a 100% Tennessee Arts Advocacy Emblem when they have participation from the whole board and/or staff. This emblem may be used in print or web alongside your logo. We also provide a custom printable certificate annually to show your support of Tennesseans for the Arts to everyone who visits your office or space. Email us to find out more info@tn4arts.org

Opportunities to Be Visible

We feature members randomly, just to encourage everyone to get to know each other and see their common interests by highlighting successful advocacy stories. We invite our members to apply to be featured. Promote your company or small business using this marketing resource! Application for Tn4Arts Members

Watch this movement Grow

Our goal is to find like minded people in our community who care enough to share our message with others. We want to protect public grant funding (in great part by the Specialty License Plate Program through the Tennessee Arts Commission). Participate by lending your support which helps Tn4Arts work with…

  • Local Arts Organizations

  • The Tennessee Arts Commission

  • Legislators to protect & maintain funding for the arts in Tennessee through the Specialty License Plate Program.

  • The Support and promotion of the Arts Caucus in the General Assembly

  • The production of advocacy events, Arts Advocacy Day at the TN State Capital

It’s time to join a network of arts advocates whose mission is to protect the Arts & Culture sector in Tennessee to ensure a vibrant and healthy future for our communities through the arts. We want all Tennesseans to benefit from the access to and impact of the arts!
